Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 3rd International Workshop "Quantum Physics and Communication" (QPC2005) which will take place at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Moscow region, Russia (June 30 - July 3, 2005).

The purpose of the Workshop is to provide a compact and comprehensive overview of the current state in the field of quantum computing and information theory, to discuss new experimental and theoretical results, and to establish prospective contacts for future collaboration.
The Workshop will include invited plenary talks (40 min) and short communications (20 min) on the following topics:

  • Physics of quantum information processing
  • Experimental quantum computing
  • Models and logic of quantum computation
  • Coherent control of quantum systems
  • Quantum entanglement
  • Decoherence in quantum systems
  • Quantum communication and cryptography
  • Quantum algorithms
The publication of the Workshop Proceedings will be done in a special issue of the journal "Particles and Nuclei, Letters". Each contribution submitted for publication will be referred.
If you are interested in attending the Workshop, please send the title of your talk and its abstract (no more one page in LaTeX) together with the full address of your institution before March 1, 2005.
