S.I. Vinitsky, A.A. Gusev, O. Chuluunbaatar, V.L. Derbov, V.V. Serov:  "Analysis of semiconductor quantum-dimensional nanostructure models using adiabatic approach"
  Models of semiconductor quantum nanostructures and their basic spectral characteristics are considered. The adiabatic approach based on the approximate separation of fast and slow variables, is related to the Kantorovich method providing the reduction of a multidimensional wave problem to a set of ordinary differential equations. Adiabatic description of models of electronic and Coulomb systems in quantum dots, quantum wires and quantum wells nanostructures is presented. The application of adiabatic approach and Kantorovich method to boundary problems with elliptic equations is illustrated. The prospects of development and application of the method are outlined.

  D.D. Ahmedov, R.K. Bazarov (Institute of mathematics and information technologies National Academy of Science Uzbekistan):  "Experience educational Grid-infrastructure creations in IMIT NAS RUz"
  With support of our colleagues from JINR (LIT) has been created local grid-site in IMIT NAS RUz, that has been included in virtual organization EDU. It was created VO IMIT and own certification centre. Installed services are: UI, CA, VOMS, WMS, LB, CE (support MPI, with shared directory /home), top-BDII, BDII-sites, WN (mpi). Grid –site was tested by the algorithm of Needleman-Wunsch, which is known from bioinformatics as procedure for an estimation of similarity of two set sequences of symbols.

November 12, 2009, at 15.00,  ( LIT, r. 310 ) the seminar LIT will be held:

  V.M. Voronyuk, V.M. DUBOVIK, E.N. Dubovik:  "Generalized evolution equation for potentials created by higher polarizabilities"
  In frames of our generalized electromagnetism (V.M. Voronyuk,V.M. Dubovik, B. Saha, 2001, further E.N. Dubovik, 2005), an equation has been derived for potentials of the n-order that are created by higher polarizations and polarizabilities. The equations contain higher derivatives on time and spatial coordinates and have a complex symmetry. The numerical simulation of the dynamic effects created by these potentials, is important for creating advanced technologies from a macroscopic level to an atomic one. An equation of the third order similar to ours, has been found earlier by A.F. Andreev at linearization of the Young-Mills equations.

  V. SMIRNOV, E. Perepelkin, A. Povolotsky:  "Modeling of stochastic cellular automata using CUDA technology"
  We perform Monte-Carlo simulations of the Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process. Simulations of stochastic cellular automata of this type are known to be very time consuming problem. In practice, they deal with systems with many degrees of freedom, which evolve with a sequence of operations of similar nature. To increase the efficiency of calculations one can use parallel programming methods. We present the simulations realized with the Graphic Processors (NVIDIA TESLA C1060). The use of this approach significantly accelerates calculations, which in turn allows for applications to highly

  Daniel Zablocki  (Institute for Physics, University of Rostock, Rostock, Germany):  "Mesons and diquarks in the NJL model: Chiral symmetry and superfluidity"
  The relationship between mesonic correlations and quantum condensates in the quark matter phase diagram of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) with two colors and two flavors of light quarks is explored within a quantum field theoretical approach of the Nambu and Jona-Lasinio (NJL) type. This is motivated by the increasing interest in the QCD phase diagram as follows: (1) The QCD critical point search has been under intensive dispute. (2) A new phase called quarkyonic matter is drawing theoretical and experimental attention but it is not clear whether it can coexist with diquark condensation. We point out that two-color QCD is nontrivial enough to contain essential ingredients for (1) and (2), in its PNJL extension, both, and most importantly, is a system without the sign problem in numerical simulations on the lattice. Mean-field values in the scalar meson and diquark channels are order parameters signaling the occurrence of quark condensates, entailing chiral symmetry breaking ( SB) and color superconductivity (2SC) in quark matter. We investigate the spectral properties of scalar and pseudoscalar meson excitations in the phase in Gaussian approximation. We discuss the influence of mixing between the and diquarks which was omitted so far in the literature..

September 3, 2009, at 15.00,  ( LIT, r. 310 ) the seminar LIT will be held:

  E. Jurčišinova:  "Methods of Investigation of Mathematical Models of fully developed turbulence"
  A method for investigation of the influence of breaking of isotropic symmetry on the existence of scaling regimes in models of developed turbulence in different approximations with respect to interaction is worked out. Theoretical investigation of the method is done and the algorithms for its realization are constructed and investigated. The algorithms are realized in the form of computer programs and they are used in numerical experiments. The analysis of the results of the numerical experiments has allowed to make variety of conclusions about the existence of scaling regimes in anisotropic models of developed turbulence: for uniaxial anisotropy at the first order of approximation and for helicity at the second order of approximation.

July 30, 2009, at 15.00,  ( LIT, r. 310 ) the seminar LIT will be held:

  1. E. Jurčišinova:  "Numerical solution of Gell-Mann-Low differential Equations in anisotropic model of developed turbulence"
  Using the field-theoretic renormalization group technique in theory of developed turbulence based on the stochastic Navier-Stokes equation the influence of uniaxial anisotropy on the stability of the Kolmogorov regime is analyzed by numerical solution of the Gell-Mann-Low differential equations. The stability of the Kolmogorov regime is driven by properties of the solution of the system of strongly nonlinear differential equations which contain integrals. The analysis of the convergence of integrals is given and possible ways of their solution are discussed. Numerical analysis of the differential equations is given. As a result, the so-called borderline dimension below which the Kolmogorov regime becomes unstable is found as function of anisotropy parameters.

  2. H.A. Sarkisyan, K.G. Dvoyan, E.M. Kazaryan, L.S. Petrosyan  (Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Yerevan, Armenia),
S.I. Vinitsky, A.A. Gusev, O. Chuluunbaatar  (JINR):  "Adiabatic description of electronic and Coulomb systems in quantum nanostructures"
  In the present review on the base of adiabatic approximation, results of research of electronic and Coulomb states in quantum nanostructures with various geometry (spherical, cylindrical, ellpsoidal, lynse-like, layered) are presented. Consideration is given in both at presence, and absence of the external fields, supposing representation of Hamiltonians of corresponding systems as the sum of Hamiltonians of slow and fast subsystems. The scheme of solution of an elliptic boundary-value problem with axial symmetry, by means of the Kantorovich method for quasi-two-dimensional impurity states in quantum wells with parabolic and rectangular inpenetrable confining potentials is presented.

 И.Б. Соловьёв (ЦЕРН, Женева - ПИЯФ, Гатчина):  "Эволюция контроля и конфигурирования системы сбора и обработки данных эксперимента АТЛАС (ЦЕРН)"
  Доклад содержит обзор программного комплекса, используемого для реализации контроля и конфигурирования эксперимента АТЛАС, созданного группой системы сбора и обработки данных. Будет представлено, как этот комплекс был спроектирован, реализован, установлен на рабочей площадке эксперимента и используется в настоящее время. Особое внимание будет уделено новым требованиям и связанным с ними проблемам, появившимся после окончательного технического задания, сформулированного в 2004 году, что включает в себя:
 - Аудит, т.е. возможность анализа процессов, происходящих во время сборки данных, возможность их воспроизведения из архивов, анализ условий и ошибок.
 - Безопасность - идентификация пользователей и ограничение управления доступом на основе ролей пользователей.
 - Масштабируемость и производительность системы, учитывая беспрецедентные размеры системы, включающей порядка 50-ти тысяч взаимосвязанных процессов, запущенных на 3-х тысячах компьютеров.
 - Устойчивость к ошибкам и восстановление после ошибок, основанные на использовании экспертных систем.
 - Удобство и корректность использования систем контроля и конфигурирования не только экспертами, разработка интерфейсов для операторов.

 1. E. Jurčišinova: "Construction of n-loop Feуnman diagrams in field-theoretic models of fully developed turbulence"
  An effective approach for construction of all n-loop one-irreducible two- point Feynman diagrams for theories with triple interaction vertices is introduced and discussed. The method is based purely on the graph theory approach and the completeness and uniqueness of the solution of the problem is proven. The corresponding algorithms for the theory are constructed and used. The general theory is applied to the field-theoretic model of fully developed turbulence based on the stochastic Navier-Stokes equation. The obtained results are discussed and their relevance for further analysis of the model is briefly described.

 2. Ivan G. Hristov, Stefka N. DIMOVA, Todor L. Boyadjiev: "Critical Dependencies in Three-lavered Josephson Junctions"
  The dynamics of the Josephson phases in stacked long Josephson Junctions is described by Sakai-Bodin-Pedersen model [1]. Partial critical dependencies of the kind current-magnetic field for three-layered Josephson Junctions are numerically investigated by using this model. Numerical procedure for finding the critical currents of the individual junctions for fixed parameters is proposed and realized. A correspondence between switching to nonzero voltage of the system and the loss of stability of some static solutions is found. For this reason the static problem is numerically investigated as well [2]. In order to study the stability of possible static distributions a Sturm-Liouville problem is generated [2] and solved. Critical currents for individual junctions are found for different values of the damping and coupling parameters at low magnetic field. We show that the individual critical currents depend on these parameters and that there is a domain in vicinity of zero magnetic field where the junctions switch to nonzero voltage simultaneously.

July 1, 2009, at 11.00,  ( LIT, r. 310 ) the seminar LIT will be held:

 1. V.B. Zlokazov: "On estimation of the exponential distribution parameter under conditions of small statistics and observation interval"
  The exponential distribution is defined over the total axis, and its parameters describe the whole set of values. Since all the observations are performed within a finite interval [t1,t2], added to what, t1 is sometimes substantially greater than zero, even the theoretical mean and variance are strongly biased as compared with the true parameters, and all the more are the estimates. Another unfavorable factor for the reliability of these estimates is the low statistics of observations. The paper adduces the results of the mathematical analysis of the problem.

 2. V.B. ZLOKAZOV, Yu.S. Tsyganov: "Half-Life Time Estimation Under Indefinite 'Mother - Daughter' Relation"
  The situation is even more depressing if low statistics and insufficient observation interval are accompanied by an indefinite "mother - daughter" relation, when in the observed picture the decays are chaotically intermingled with each other, and it is not clear who is the mother, and who is the daughter. The report suggests a method for a sufficiently reliable estimate of the half-life time parameter under more favorable conditions, and its lower bound under less favorable ones.

  A.A. Egorov (GPI RAS), A.L. Sevastyanov, K.P. Lovetskiy, L.A. SEVASTIANOV (PFUR), E.A. Hayryan: "Adiabatic modes of smoothly irregular open waveguide: zero approximation"
  Adiabatic model of smoothly irregular multilayer optical waveguides in absence of irregularities coincides with regular waveguide model in terms of longitudinal components of electromagnetic fields of waveguide modes. Such a model deals with transfer matrix formalism. The same formalism is also valid for investigation of waveguide and leaky modes of regular waveguide. We have used this formalism to calculate dispersion relations and field amplitudes with the help of regularized method of solution of homogeneous system of linear algebraic equations.

  P. Kh. ATANASOVA, T.L. Boyadjiev, E.V. Zemlyanaya, Yu.M. Shukrinov: "Numerical modeling of long Josephson junctions, describing by double sine-Gordon equation "
  Physical properties of magnetic flux in Josephson junctions are the base of the modern superconducting electronics. Tunnel superconductor- insulator-superconductor (SIS) Josephson junctions have sinusoidal current-phase relation, while with the decrease of the barrier transparency deviations from this relation take place. The sign of the higher harmonic is important for many applications, in particular in junctions like SNINS and SFIFS, where N is a normal metal and F is a weak metallic ferromagnet. In this work static magnetic flux distributions in long Josephson junctions are investigated numerically taking into account the second harmonics in the Fourier-decomposition of the Josephson current. We have calculate some basic distributions along the junction and analyze their stability in dependence on the model parameters. A comparison with traditional SIS Josephson junction model is performed.

  N.D. Dikoussar: "The Basic Element Method in Polynomial Approximation and Smoothing Problems"
  To increase the solution efficiency in polynomial approximation and smoothing problems a base element method (BEM) is suggested. The essence of the method consists in decomposition of the algebraic polynomial via quadratic and cubic elements, obtained with the aid of cross-ratio functions. The main properties of BEM comprise: threefold reduction of the order of derivatives in function decomposition, uniform approximation along the entire length, expansion of the approximation interval, direct relationship of model and data, the use of continuous parameters for adjustment of computation accuracy and stability. The use of BEM opens new possibilities for increasing the efficiency of the LSM procedures when resolving polynomial regression problems.

  O. Zaimidoroga, O. Strelcova, K. FOMENKO: "Modeling of the propagation of electromagnetic pulses in binary scintillator media"
  The propagation of electromagnetic pulses in binary scintillator media has been modeled. The spatial evolution of electromagnetic excitations caused by particle passing through the scintillator has been studied. Space-time dependence of light profiles, time dependence of light-media energy balance and estimation of signal formation length were obtained.

  Ju.V. Tchemarina (Tver State University): "Analytical and numerical investigation of gravitating static spherically symmetric scalar field configurations"
(Materials of Master's Thesis)
  The thesis discusses static particlelike configurations of minimally coupled gravitating scalar fields are considered. An exact general solution to the inverse problem for spherically symmetric configurations in the form of an integral formula, whereby one can find an associated potential and space-time metric, is obtained. The common properties of scalar field black holes, regular solutions, wormholes and topological solutions are studied. A new two-parameter family of exact asymptotically flat solutions to the Einstein-scalar field equations with a positive kinetic term is obtained. Numerical simulations of the topological geon with a phantom scalar field and given potential are performed.
