heat equation with a periodic source for modeling of thermal processes in a pulsed cryogenic cell"
We present the algorithms for solving the direct problem for the heat equation with a periodic source for
modeling the thermal processes inside pulsed cryogenic cell. This cell periodically injects working gases
to the electron-string ion source. The cell is represented as a multi-layer cylindrical object in which the
thermal processes drove by periodic electric current passing through one of the conductive layers. Presented
algorithms are relevant for the design and optimization of pulsed cryogenic cell. For the given
configuration and materials of the cell we obtained the characteristic time for stabilization of the
periodic temperature regime.

with solid surface"
The impact processes of colliding metal nanoclusters with metal solid surface is simulated
by molecular dynamics methods depending on energy and size of nanoclusters and a frequency
of impulsive nanoclusters source. Investigation of penetration depth of the metal clusters
into solid metal surface is carried out. Thickness of deposited layer on the irradiated
surface also has been studied.

Problems of polynomial approximation and smoothing are solved within the basic element
method (BEM) in which the nth degree polynomial is expressed in the form of four basic elements.
The main feature of the BEM-polynomial is a fusion of the properties of Taylor polynomial and a second

S.D.Belov: "Development of methods and tools of automating the processes simulations in
High Energy Physics within the Grid environment"
(on materials of a PhD thesis)
The simulation of physical processes on colliders is a necessary element of
modern experiments in high energy physics. As one of the basic methods of
modelling events, a Monte Carlo method is used. A correct preparation of
events often demands an expert adjustment of programs-generators or else
significant computing resources. The event simulation is carried out in some
stages with application of various software and systems of
distributed computing. Here the important problems are the automatic
description, storage and access to the correct simulated events for their
re-use. The report discusses a suggested approach and software for
automation of the chain of Monte Carlo simulations.

A stochastic model of the multiparticle production formulated. Different distributions: Fermi, Bose and
q-uantum; Poisson, NBD and KNO; Reni, Tsallis and interpolating, considered.

Nikolay Kutovskiy: "Methods and tools for building of cloud autonomous grid
infrastructures for training, research, development and testing tasks"
Training, research, development and testing in grid sphere are less effective on production grid infrastructures from the speed of the result achievement and hardware resources utilization points of view than the use of the special complexes for such asks. Moreover some of the mentioned tasks can’t be solved on the production grid infrastructures at all. An approach to build cloud autonomous grid infrastructures to solve the listed tasks in the cloud and grid spheres is proposed. The implementation of the complex based on proposed approach and its usage experience are described as well.

Ben Herbst (Professor of Applied Mathematics, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa): "Graphical models in image segmentation"
Graphical Models provide a powerful unifying framework within Machine Learning. In this talk I would like to illustrate some of its power by means of an example from image segmentation. Given an MRI sequence of a beating heart, the problem is to develop an automated procedure for the segmentation of the left ventricle. It will be explained how Graphical Models might provide a better segmentation than a human expert.
