MLIT researcher delivered plenary talk at workshop in India MLIT researcher Igor Pelevanyuk delivered a plenary talk at the India-JINR Workshop on Particle, Nuclear, Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics. The event took place on 10–12 November 2025 at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER, Bhubaneswar), India. Igor Pelevanyuk’s talk was devoted to advanced data processing methods and technologies in heterogeneous computing environments developed and applied at MLIT. The scientist spoke about JINR’s unique IT infrastructure, a key component of which is the Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex (MICC). The speaker emphasized that the Institute’s computing ecosystem, based on MLIT, represented an integrated platform that combines resources to support and implement large-scale scientific projects at JINR and in which the Institute acts as a partner. The presentation focused on MLIT’s strategic objectives, including the elaboration of new algorithms on top of artificial intelligence, machine and deep learning, as well as the creation of advanced methods for working with Big Data. The development of the JINR Digital Ecosystem, a unified platform that integrates all existing and future services, was highlighted. The ecosystem is designed to ensure reliable and secure access to data to support scientific, administrative, and social activities. In his welcoming speech to the participants, NISER Director, Professor Hirendra Nath Ghosh underlined the crucial role of international collaboration for the development of modern science. In this context, Igor Pelevanyuk’s talk demonstrated that JINR possessed a powerful, advanced computing and analytics base that is accessible to the international scientific community and is already being employed to solve the most ambitious scientific problems.
