“Centenary of quantum mechanics: view from China” lecture Thursday, December 5, 2024 JINR Scientists’ Club Dubna,Russia On Thursday, 5 December 2024, at 5:00 PM, the JINR Scientists’ Club invites everyone interested to the lecture entitled “The centenary of quantum mechanics: a view from China”. The lecturers are Deputy Chief Scientific Secretary Alexey Zhemchugov and Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department Elena Badawy. They will discuss the symposium and possible approaches to the study of the history of science at the Joint Institute. The centenary of quantum mechanics will be celebrated in 2025. Different countries hold many scientific events dedicated to this anniversary. One of these events is the Symposium on the History of Modern Physics, organized by the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Asia Pacific Centre for Theoretical Physics.
