On 3 April 2026 Natalia Vorobyeva, Head of the Radiation Biophysics Laboratory of the State Research Center of the Burnazyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center (Burnazyan SRC-FMBC) of the FMBA of Russia, visited the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies. The meeting focused on the development of scientific and technical cooperation with Burnazyan SRC-FMBC of the FMBA of Russia in the area of elaborating algorithms and software solutions for the automated analysis of biological research results. Head of the MLIT Heterogeneous Computing and Quantum Information Science Sector Oksana Streltsova, Senior Researcher Sara Shadmehri, and Researchers Tatevik Bezhanyan and Maxim Zuev participated in the discussion on behalf of MLIT JINR. During the meeting, promising areas of joint research were considered. One of the central topics was the use of the MOSTLIT web service. This tool is employed for the automated counting of radiation-induced foci (DNA double-strand breaks) and enables a significantly faster analysis to evaluate the influence of ionizing radiation on biological objects. In addition, the development of novel software solutions aimed to automate morphological research data processing was discussed.
