Methods and Software Complexes for the Reconstruction of Charged Particle Trajectories in the BM@N and CMS Experiments

(based on the PhD thesis)
Abstract:
The PhD thesis presents effective algorithms, methods and software packages for the reconstruction of charged particle trajectories in the cathode-strip chambers of the CMS experiment and the drift chambers of the BM@N experiment.
Within the development of the above algorithms and software packages, their optimal parameters for track reconstruction were determined depending on the location of the detectors in the experimental setups and data acquisition conditions, the geometric alignment of the detectors and the adjustment of data sampling at the software level were performed, and the efficiency and spatial resolution of the detectors were evaluated for different datasets.
All the presented software packages, algorithms and methods have been successfully implemented in the experimental software environments and are currently used by default for charged particle trajectories reconstruction in the corresponding detector systems.
