MEPhI-JINR workshop. Computing for the NICA megaproject Tuesday, December 12, 2023 National Research Nuclear University MEPhI Moscow, Russia Dear colleagues! On Tuesday, 12 December 2023, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, MEPhI-JINR workshop Computing for the NICA megaproject will be held at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. The meeting is held in a mixed format, with specialists from MEPhI and JINR sharing opinions, results and practical developments concerning modern IT methods and approaches to collecting, storing, simulating and degrading data analysis from experiments of the NICA megaproject. Particular attention will be paid to discussing approaches to creating distributed tools for processing and storing data. Apart from that, within the framework of the Agreement, the sides will discuss the issues of training specialists to solve the problems of the NICA megaproject. The plan is to train students and graduates of MEPhI who will have the opportunity to talk to leading specialists in joint experiments on NICA.
