XXXI conference "Mathematics. Computer. Education (MCE-2024)" From January 22 to 27, the XXXI International Conference "Mathematics. Computer. Education" is being held at the State University "Dubna". The United Institute is traditionally one of its organizers. Speakers at the event are employees of three laboratories of the Institute. The main objective of the Conference is to provide a platform for constructive dialogue between professionals in various fields of knowledge – from pure mathematical theory to application of mathematical models and information technology in scientific research and education. The conference participants were greeted by the JINR scientific director, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Viktor Matveev, the MLIT JINR scientific director Vladimir Korenkov, the chairman of the organizing committee of the conference MCE, prof. of Moscow State M.V. Lomonosov University Galina Riznichenko, head of the Department of Biophysics, Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrey Rubin and the аcting Rector of the University "Dubna" Andrey Denikin. Vladimir Korenkov, who was at the origins of the conference and is one of its main organizers, noted that the current conference is accompanied by many significant dates: it is already being held in Dubna for the fifteenth time. The co-organizing universities of the event are celebrating their anniversaries: Moscow State M.V. Lomonosov University is 270 years old, Dubna University turns 30 this year. The day before, in December, Russian information technologies celebrated their 75th anniversary. In addition, there are very few examples of conferences in the world that would deal with different fields of science, from physics to philology. “This is the most interdisciplinary conference in the world. A large, interesting scientific and good cultural program awaits us. I wish great success to all participants!” - Vladimir Korenkov emphasized.
