Borisovskiy Valeriy Fedorovich 29.09.1942 – 12.02.2025 On February 12, 2025, Valeriy Borisovskiy, head of the Automated control Systems group at the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technology, died after a serious long illness. Borisovsky V.F. was born on September 29, 1942 in the city of Kushka, Turkmen SSR. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Engineering and Physics in 1967 with a degree in Electronics and Automation of Physical Installations and was assigned to JINR's LCTA (LIT). In 1971, he was sent on a business trip to the GDR, where he worked as a senior engineer, head of department, deputy head of the information and computing center. After returning from a business trip in 1978, V.F. Borisovsky was appointed head of the Automated control System implementation and operation group, and since 1982 - head of the Scientific and Technical Department of the Automated Control System. Under the leadership of V.F. Borisovsky, the following were developed: an industry-standard EC computer-based design solution for accounting for material assets, a number of large automated control systems in the field of personnel, accounting and production accounting, international scientific and technical cooperation and information support of the Institute. He has implemented and is currently successfully using large information systems for automating the scientific and organizational activities of the Institute: INDICO and the Institute's management organization based on the 1C:UPP software package, and video conferencing systems for organizing events remotely. V.F. Borisovsky was a highly qualified specialist and a leader with a sense of responsibility for the assigned work. V.F. Borisovsky's exceptional tact, inner culture and high business qualities allowed him to skillfully organize the work of the group's team, mobilizing its efforts to fulfill its tasks. Valeriy Fedorovich had a number of publications published in industry collections and reports, conference proceedings, preprints and scientific journals, Rospatent certificates and a number of works in closed sources of information. V.F. Borisovsky's fruitful work was marked by awards: the medal "For the development of virgin and fallow lands", the medal "Veteran of Labor", the medal "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow", the departmental badge of distinction in labor "Veteran of Atomic Energy and Industry", city and branch Honorary diplomas, the JINR Honorary Diploma. Valery Fedorovich was awarded the title of "JINR Honorary Fellow". V.F.
