Meetings in Minsk On 17 September, during a visit to Minsk, MLIT Deputy Director Nikolay Voytishin took part in the XXII International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists “Youth in Science – 2025”. Within the youth conference at the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (UIIP NAS of Belarus), a scientific session on mathematics and computer science was organized. Young researchers presented their findings across a wide range of areas, from numerical methods and algebra to the application of artificial intelligence methods in biology, medicine, and education. Nikolay Voytishin joined the session’s scientific jury. MLIT researcher and scholarship holder Yauheni Talochka delivered a talk on the development of a graph neural network with an attention mechanism and two-stage aggregation for particle trajectory reconstruction in the MPD Time-Projection Chamber (TPC) at the NICA accelerator complex. On the same day, there was held a meeting with the directorate of UIIP NAS of Belarus, at which opportunities for strengthening cooperation and future joint projects were discussed.
