33rd conference “Mathematics. Computer. Education” Scientific Leader of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies Vladimir Korenkov took part in the XXXIII International Conference “Mathematics. Computer. Education” (MCE-2026). The conference is being held at Dubna State University on 26–31 January 2026. The event was organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, the Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the RAS, and a number of other scientific organizations. Vladimir Korenkov, a member of the International Scientific Committee of the MCE-2026 conference, spoke at the opening of the event. Within the event’s program, MLIT Scientific Leader delivered a plenary talk on digital technologies and data mining in large-scale scientific projects. The principles of JINR’s organization as an international intergovernmental organization, as well as MLIT's scientific areas of work and the capabilities of the JINR Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex, were presented. The report focused on essential aspects of processing and analyzing large volumes of data generated in modern megascience projects. Advanced data processing and mining methods, cloud and grid technologies, without which present-day fundamental research is impossible to imagine, were considered. MCE-2026 also features the Symposium “Biophysics of Complex Systems. Computational and Systems Biology. Molecular Modeling” and a roundtable discussion “Cultural Space of Russia”. About 240 representatives of scientific and educational centers of Russia, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Kazakhstan, and China are participating in MCE-2026. The conferences of the MCE series are interdisciplinary in nature and aim at consolidating the efforts of scientists and higher education workers, preserving the traditions of Russian science and education, enhancing the qualifications of the scientific and teaching staff in mathematical modeling and information technology, and attracting young people to the field of science and education.
