Thursday, February 26, 2026 14:30 MLIT Room 310, Online via MTS Link Dmitrii PereimaPh.D. in high energy physics, associate professor NRNU MEPhI (ex-LHCb) Search for new decays of beauty hadrons with charmonium in the final state at LHCb experiment Abstract: This report presents an overview of the author’s main published results on the analysis of LHCb data collected between 2017 and 2025. The talk covers searches for new decay channels of beauty hadrons with charmonium in the final state, measurements of the branching fractions of the corresponding decays, and the extraction of charmonium resonance parameters. Event selection and background suppression were performed using machine learning algorithms implemented in the TMVA multivariate analysis package. The classifiers were trained on Monte Carlo simulated samples and control data sets. The results are compared with theoretical predictions and previous measurements.
