Galina Aleksandrovna Korobova celebrates her anniversary On 6 April, Galina Aleksandrovna Korobova, a lead programmer of the JINR Network Infrastructure Development and Operation Sector of the Engineering and Technology Department of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies, celebrates her anniversary. G.A. Korobova has been working at MLIT since 1980, after graduating from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. G.A. Korobova actively participated in mastering the development of operating systems, adapted and configured system service virtual machines. She was the main system manager of the ES EVM complex and the complex’s file space administrator. Following the dismantling of the ES EVM, G.A. Korobova transferred to a group for the functioning and development of the Institute’s computing network. With her direct participation, a computing network in the JINR Science and Technology Library (STL) was developed and installed at a new level. At present, G.A. Korobova takes an active part in the development and operation of the JINR STL local area network, being its administrator. As a highly qualified specialist in modern informational technology, G.A. Korobova constantly enhances her skills. Her contribution to the successful holding of the international conference “Mathematics. Computer. Education”, where G.A. Korobova has been a regular member of the organizing committee since 1996 for 20 years, is particularly noteworthy. G. A. Korobova during her work at the conference "Mathematics. Computer. Education" in 2008 For her many years of diligent work, G.A. Korobova was awarded the departmental badge of distinction in labor “Veteran of Nuclear Energy and Industry” and JINR’s Certificates of Honor in 2016 and 2021. Her experience and personal qualities allow her to successfully cope with assigned tasks. Thanks to her conscientious attitude towards work, she enjoys well-deserved respect in the team.
