Sad news about death of V. Voevodin Yesterday, 29 April 2026, our great friend and colleague Vladimir Voevodin passed away at the age of 63. He was an outstanding Russian scientist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the RAS, Director of the MSU Research Computing Center and Director of the MSU branch in Sarov, Head of the Department of Supercomputers and Quantum Informatics of the MSU Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (CMC), a member of the JINR Scientific Council and the MLIT Dissertation Council.. He was always with us at our conferences and schools, delighting us with interesting questions, excellent presentations and talks, which enabled to delve deeply into the topic of supercomputer technologies. We will greatly miss his wise advice and simple communication with him. We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Vladimir Voevodin.
