Slovak delegation visited MLIT On 12 May 2026 a delegation from the Slovak Republic, headed by public activist Pavol Slota, visited the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies as part of an introductory visit to JINR. At MLIT, Pavol Slota and his colleagues, accompanied by MLIT Deputy Director Dmitry Podgainy and MLIT Scientific Secretary Olga Derenovskaia, toured the Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex. MLIT senior researcher Jan Buša Jr. also participated in the meeting. The guests got acquainted with the capabilities of the MICC, viewed the Govorun supercomputer, and learned about the Laboratory’s history and ongoing research trends. On the day of the visit, the Slovak delegation visited the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions, and the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics.
