MLIT at youth conference in Alushta

On 9 June 2026, young scientists of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies presented their scientific results at the 15th International Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists “Alushta-2026”. The event, held at the Dubna resort house in Alushta, brought together over 50 participants from seven countries: Bolivia, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, and South Africa. The conference is traditionally organized by AYSS JINR.

Head of the MLIT Distributed Systems Sector, SPD Deputy Computing and Software Coordinator Artem Petrosyan delivered a talk on the status and development trends of the JINR Multifunctional Information and Computing Complex (MICC), as well as on the areas of MLIT’s scientific activity within JINR flagship projects and other large-scale international projects.

MLIT trainee researcher Alexey Konak discussed the organization of data storage and processing for the international SPD experiment at the NICA collider. MLIT trainee researcher Nikita Greben continued the SPD experiment’s topic in a report on the current development status and enhancement plans for the SPD Online Filter middleware, a hardware and software complex for the high-throughput processing of primary data. MLIT software engineer Polina Korshunova presented the status of the development of a data management system for the SPD Online Filter middleware. MLIT trainee researcher Leonid Romanychev spoke about the creation of a self-managing system for distributed task execution in SPD Online Filter. MLIT software engineer Nikita Monakov gave a talk on the status and prospects for the development of a data processing management system designed to send requests to the workload management system.

MLIT senior engineerAndrey Evlanov devoted his report to the development of additive technologies and 3D modeling at MLIT to solve engineering tasks, including for the hardware of the JINR MICC.

Technical support for the JINR AYSS conference in Alushta, including the organization of online broadcasts, is being provided by MICC Chief Engineer Alexey Vorontsov.

The Alushta-2026 conference will continue until 14 June. The participants will enjoy a rich scientific program: 12 plenary and 44 sessional talks, as well as a multitude of sports and leisure activities. The conference marks JINR’s 70th anniversary.
