We invite you to take part in ICPPA-2026 conference organized with participation of MLIT experts The 8th International Conference on Particle Physics and Astrophysics (ICPPA-2026) will be held on 27-30 October in Moscow. MLIT Director Sergei Shmatov and his Deputy Nikolay Voytishin became co-chairs of the conference’s new thematic session on artificial intelligence methods. The event is organized by the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. Traditionally, ICPPA-2026 focuses on urgent issues in experimental and theoretical nuclear physics, elementary particle physics, astroparticle physics, and cosmology. This year, in response to the growing role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in modern science and society, the organizers have expanded the conference’s topics by adding a session on the application of artificial intelligence methods in particle physics and astrophysics, from data analysis and modeling to detector design and theoretical computing. The new session will be organized and chaired by Sergei Shmatov and Nikolay Voytishin, who are members of the ICPPA-2026 International Program Committee. We invite staff members of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies, as well as all interested specialists, to participate in the new session “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Particle Physics and Astrophysics”. Registration and abstract submission deadline: 14 September 2026. In case you have registered on the site, please inform Nikolay Voytishin about this. Program, registration, and more information. ICPPA-2026 is a unique opportunity to exchange scientific knowledge, to establish contacts between scientists from different countries, and discuss new ideas in fundamental research. The conference will bring together experts and young scientists working in the experimental and theoretical areas of nuclear physics, particle physics (including astroparticle physics), and cosmology. Selected conference proceedings will be published in scientific journals (indexed in RSCI, Scopus and/or Web of Science) after peer review. Poster
