The Epoch of Impulse at LCTA. Exhibition for the 60th Anniversary of MLIT JINR. 17 September at 5:00 PM – Exhibition grand opening at the Mir Cultural Center. The exhibition entitled “The Epoch of Impulse at LCTA” is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies (MLIT), which was called the Laboratory of Computing Techniques and Automation (LCTA) until 2000. The exhibition focuses on Impulse wall newspapers, published from 1963 to 1988 and reflecting the Laboratory’s scientific and social life. Distinguished by its vibrant literary style and sharp humor, Impulse can rightfully be considered a quarter-century chronicle of LCTA. The exhibition introduces the Laboratory’s founding fathers and the history of the development of computing technology at JINR.
