    Digital twins for solving data center design and development tasks
    Abstract:

    Digital twins of data centers can be used to design and improve the technical characteristics of computing systems. In particular, digital twin are used to provide large-scale scientific projects with IT infrastructure, to make decisions on the choice of equipment configurations as part of scaling and resource management tasks. The report discusses a software complex for creating and using digital twins of distributed data acquisition, storage and processing centers, provides examples of its use for the NICA complex experiments, and outlines plans for further development.

    Challenges and prospects of distributed data processing and analysis systems in the JINR
    Abstract:

    The sector of the distributed systems was established to develop, support, and enhance the services of the MICC (the multifunctional information and computing complex of JINR) for distributed computing, aimed at ensuring reliable storage and processing of experimental data. This includes supporting research infrastructures both within and outside JINR, as well as maintaining the engineering and IT infrastructure of LIT, which was created for these purposes. The report will provide an overview of the main tasks in the sector of the distributed systems, as well as the prospects for its development.

    Development of Distributed Processing and Data Management Methods for the BM@N and MPD Experiments within the DIRAC System
    Abstract:

    Since 2019, a geographically distributed heterogeneous computing environment based on the DIRAC platform has been under development at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) The report will present the results of further development of the computing environment, as well as methods for monitoring and analyzing its operation. The developed approaches and software tools have enabled large-scale processing of experimental data. In particular, during the 9th BM@N data-taking run in 2026, approximately 2 PB of data were collected and processed. A system currently under development for comprehensive analysis of the state of the data storage infrastructure used by experiments operating within DIRAC will also be presented, and promising directions for further development of the system will be discussed.
