24th JEMS Training Programme

From 11 to 15 March a regular international training programme for administrative and scientific personnel (JEMS-24) was held at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The JEMS programme is designed to provide participants with a broad overview of the various fields of activity of the Joint Institute in the shortest period of time possible – 5 days.

The 24th JEMS was held by leaders of various ranks and cooperation coordinators of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, the Institute for Nuclear Problems of Belarusian State University, the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Far Eastern Federal University, Voronezh, Smolensk, and Tver State Universities, as well as the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Over the course of five days, the participants visited the laboratories of the Joint Institute, got acquainted with its flagship projects, and meet with leading scientists.
