40th International Conference on High Energy Physics ICHEP 2020

July 28, 2020 - August 6, 2020
Virtual Conference
Czech Republic
Overview:
We want to extend to you our cordial invitation to the 40th International Conference on High Energy Physics to be held 28 Jul - 6 Aug 2020 in Prague, in the Czech Republic. No one can predict the results that will be shown here. Yet we may expect a rich harvest from the current LHC run as well as from other experiments. We will also like to hear about the European Strategy Update.
Attending a conference like ICHEP means more than scientific sessions. Prague is a city of stunning beauty and magnificent architecture. Hand in hand with culture the tradition of science dates back to the 14th century when Charles IV established here one of the oldest universities in Europe (1348). The list of famous scientists who have worked in Prague includes T. Brahe, J. Kepler, Ch. Doppler, B. Bolzano, E. Mach and A. Einstein. In recent decades, the Czech particle physics community has contributed to many HEP experiments as well as to SM/BSM phenomenology.
Prague has had its ups and downs - charming times followed by periods of strange rulers. It is our honour to host the top particle physics gathering, which allows us to share the beauty with you!
We are looking forward to seeing you in ICHEP2020!
