Overview:
The The 4-th International Science and Technology Conference «Modern Network Technologies, MoNeTec-2020» gathers representatives of the international scientific community, research departments of corporations, start-ups, representatives of industry and business, development institutions, and public authorities to discuss promising and relevant technologies in the field of computer networks, virtualization of network resources, and cloud computing, application of AI to networks.
The Conference will include plenary reports by foreign and domestic scientists on the actual problems of latter-day networks and their applications, regular reports on the conference topics, poster session for students, industrial session for vendors. Also, a number of tutorials on network technologies and industrial solutions will be arranged for young engineers, scientists and students. It will help to expand the professional circle of specialists capable of supporting and developing these technologies and solutions.
The Conference proceedings, due to the IEEE Technical Co-sponsorship will be published in the IEEE Xplore library.

The International Conference “Condensed Matter Research at the IBR-2”

Dear colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to welcome all of you to the International Conference “Condensed Matter Research at the IBR-2”. It will be dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Frank Laboratory of Neutron Physics of JINR and will be held in Dubna, Moscow region, Russia from 25 to 29 April, 2022.
In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it is planned to organize the upcoming Conference ONLINE.
The aim of the Conference on Condensed Matter Research at IBR-2 reactor, playing the role of the User Meeting, is to bring together the users of the neutron facility for discussion of recent experimental results, prospects of future research and development of IBR-2 instruments.
The publication of the selected papers containing results presented at the Conference in a peer-reviewed journal is planned.
The online registration and abstract submission are available from 15 January until the deadline 01 March 2022.

QCD Research at the U.S. Electron-Ion Collider

We kindly invite you to the first JINR Institutional Seminar in 2022.
Abstract:
The Electron Ion Collider (EIC) is a new experimental complex, that is currently being built at Brookhaven National Lab in the U.S. with first operations planed for 2031. The EIC will collide intense, high-energy, polarized beam of electrons and hadrons at center-of-mass energy of 40 – 120 GeV to study the fundamental structure of subatomic matter. For example, the EIC will advance our understand the dynamical generation of hadron mass and spin from quark-gluon interactions in QCD, the three-dimensional structure of nucleons and nuclei, and the emergent properties of dense systems of gluons and more.
The EIC development and construction is a new international project on the first stages of its realization. It provides both new opportunities for the precise research of nuclei and proton, as well as the development of new accelerator and detector technologies using techniques from big data analysis and using pioneer ML and AI features. The project is actively developing and has a wide international support and recognition. This talk will present an overview of the EIC, its physics program, and the proposed ECCE detector.
