At the end of November, the HybriLIT team from the JINR Laboratory of Information Technologies, at the invitation of the University of Western Bohemia (Pilsen) and the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics of the Czech Technical University (Prague), together with colleagues from these institutes, as well as with the participation of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Technical University in Košice held in Prague and Pilsen training courses on parallel programming technologies based on the HybriLIT platform.

The training course by the Intel company will be held on 26 September 2018 (Wednesday) in room 407 at the JINR Laboratory of Information Technologies. The course will start at 11:00 AM. International school “Scientific computing, Big data analytics and machine learning technology for megascience projects”

International school “Scientific computing, Big data analytics and machine learning technology for megascience projects” in frames of the Conference "Distributed Computing and Grid-technologies in Science and Education" will be held on September, 10 – 14, 2018 at the Laboratory of Information Technologies (LIT) of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna.
The goal of the school is to attract young scientists, students and postgraduate students to solve IT-tasks and challenges related to various aspects of megaprojects in the field of high-energy physics and to familiarize participants with modern methods of Big data analytics, machine learning and high-performance computing systems and to use this knowledge to solve IT tasks in the field of high-energy physics.
The main topics of the school are:
  • Big data by the example of the NICA megaproject and experiments at the Large Hadron Collider as the main source of big data in high-energy physics;
